Welcome, Assistant Principal Painter!
We are thrilled to welcome Eric Painter to Rolling Valley Elementary! With an impressive background in education and leadership, Eric brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our school community.
Eric holds a master’s in education leadership from George Mason University, and a bachelor’s from the University of New Mexico where he received dual licensure in Special and Elementary Education. His career spans roles as a classroom teacher, special education professional, and educational leader, with a passion for fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments.
In his most recent role at Wolftrap Elementary, Eric served in various leadership capacities, including Instructional Council Member, Equity Team Member, and Summer Learning Site Coordinator. His innovative initiatives, such as a schoolwide kindness campaign and equity audits, reflect his commitment to student success and community engagement.
Eric’s expertise extends to strategic planning, professional development, and data-driven instruction, which align perfectly with Rolling Valley's vision for excellence. Whether coordinating summer programs that drive student growth or crafting culturally responsive teaching strategies, Eric focuses on ensuring every child thrives.
Eric is passionate about sports and travel when he is not at school. He loves to watch, play, and talk about all things sports, and he can often be found repping the colors of his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Eric enjoys traveling as well. Specifically, Eric tries to visit and hike in a different national park each year.
We are excited to see Eric apply his skills and leadership to help Rolling Valley soar even higher. Please join us in giving him a warm welcome as he begins this new chapter with us!
